Last Thursday July 1st we had a great time at the Joy Group Dinner. Even though I did have it in my mind that with the upcoming holiday, maybe attendance would be down; but as everyone started to arrive something awesome happened, we had to get out two more tables. In all we had 45 people at our Joy Group Dinner.
I was a little nerves with the fact that my planned activity kinda fell through, but with prayer and faith, we did a little reflecting on what Independence Day was really about and how this country was founded under the belief of one True God. Afterwards people testified about what this country meant to them and the freedoms we enjoy. Followed by a quick description from Pastor Rudd and his daughter Debbie about their missionary trip to Haiti.
All in all it was a very good time of fellowship, and the food wasn't bad either.
